Duas From Quran



Dua means to ask Allah directly for something or asking Allah for help or for the fulfilment of a particular need. Dua also is the essence of worship. In English, Dua writings as supplication. There are certain times dua (supplication) is more likely to be accepted by Allah (SWT) as mentioned by Prophet (SAW) :

1. While fasting.
2. In the last portion of the night.(tahajud , prayer night).
3. After every fard/compulsory salah/prayer performs.
4. When it is raining.
5. After the tilawat/recitation of the Quran.
6. between the 2 khutbah on jummah day.
7. Before the salah jummah starts.

"The nearest a servant can be to his Lord is while in prostration, hence excessively make dua [in that position]." (Muslim, Abu Dawud, Nasai & Musnad Ahmad)
